- The Florida Institute of Sterile Processing is dedicated to educating driven students, regardless of their prior professional experience. We are committed to helping students unlock their potential and empowering them to pursue fulfilling careers in healthcare. Our mission is to provide students with the skills, knowledge, and professionalism required to excel in their careers and make a meaningful impact on the industry.
- As a student in the FISP program, you will receive professional training in Sterile Processing and Distribution within a condensed timeframe. This training will prepare you to take national and international certification exams administered by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) and the National Competency for Certification Training. Our courses are designed to equip graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to pass these certification exams and embark on a Sterile Processing or Flexible Endoscope Technician career. Additionally, we offer graduates valuable resources to help them explore exciting job opportunities in the field. Please note that the registration fee and tuition payments for courses are non-refundable.
- Our instructor is a highly experienced Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician and a Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor. He holds a certificate in Physiology from Harvard Medical School and is an active member of the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (formerly IAHCSMM). Committed to sharing his expertise, he has trained professionals across the Midwest, California, Florida, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada.
